Dr. Carrie Cwiak's research interests are in developing tools to teach contraception to students and clinicians, improving access and effective use of contraception and emergency contraception, contraception in the postpartum period, and medical abortion. |

Dr. Melissa Kottke's research interests include, development and utilization of a computerized tool to aid in contraceptive decision-making, postpartum contraception, post-abortion IUD placement, and adolescent reproductive health. Dr. Kottke is a member of the ACTSI community engagement program. In addition, her research is funded through anonymous foundations and by the Ford Foundation and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. |

Dr. Eva Lathrop's research interests are to study potential strategies and interventions aimed at improving access to reproductive health services in low resource settings, with a particular emphasis on strategies that promote family planning, improve access to emergency obstetrical care, and reduce unsafe abortion. |
