Dr. Michael Lindsay's research interests are HIV transmission in Pregnancy and Gestational Diabetes and he is a key member of the Emory Preterm Birth Clinical Research Center pending U10 application.

Dr. Jane Ellis's research interests include the impact of HIV on pregnancy, particularly with respect to placental functioning and its role in facilitating/preventing in utero transmission of the virus.  Other active studies include evaluation of uterine scars by ultrasound and development of uterine rupture predictors; preterm birth/stillbirth; and health care disparities for indigent women.
