Research Focus and Special Interests
Safety and Reliability in Healthcare: Quality Improvement in Healthcare. Dr. Castellano was the Site Gynecologist for the HERS Project (Site PI: Nanette Wenger, MD). Resident research projects have included shoulder dystocia, endometrial biopsy techniques, and problem-based learning. Dr. Castellano has completed a project involving the production of an interactive CD-Rom for patient education in menopause medicine.
