Treatment approaches differ in the U.K. and U.S
., says Donna Session, MD, director of the division of reproductive endocrinology and fertility and associate professor of gynecology and obstetrics at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. "In the U.S., generally higher doses [of Clomid] are used, typically 100 milligrams a day." And medication and insemination are typically combined.

Ovarian cancer signs

Hoping to catch ovarian cancer earlier, researchers have created a symptom-index -- five warning signs for women to watch for: pelvic or abdominal pain, bloating, abdominal swelling, difficulty eating and feeling full quickly. Dr. Ira Horowitz of Emory University comments on these signs.
