We are active participants in the
Electronic Residency Application Service from the Association of American
Medical Colleges, the Canadian Resident Matching Service (CaRMs), and
the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG). We will
accept applications by electronic filing only. You may obtain detailed
information on how to apply by contacting your Dean's Office or the ECFMG
or by visiting the AAMC-ERAS
Website. When completing your application, please be sure to request
electronic transmission of your licensure test scores. Additionally, please
be sure to update your electronic application with any changes of address,
telephone number, or other important changes or honors received.
Because of the large number of applications we receive, it is necessary
that interviews are by invitation only. |
| Requirements for application are as follows:
- USMLE Step I results
- USMLE Step II results will be required by Rank Day (February 2009) so take the exam earlier rather than later.
There is no minimum score, however it is competitive so a better score will be more advantageous
(International Medical Graduates will require Steps I, II and III for H1-B1 Visa sponsorship.)
- Three letters of recommendation, one of which must be from a member of your Medical School's Ob-Gyn department.
- Medical School Transcript
- Dean's Letter
Answers for Frequently Asked Questions:
- Emory University does sponsor J1 and H1B visas.

The deadline for applications for
2009 residency is November 1, 2008. Should you have additional questions
you may contact our Program Coordinator, Kathleen
Handziuk, (404) 616-5423.
